Focus was placed on \u003cstrong\u003eoptimal throttle response and performance\u003c\/strong\u003e during development, which has resulted in a power increase of 0.3 kW (0.4 hp) at 8,000 rpm and a torque boost of 0.7 Nm at 8,000 rpm when compared to a Yamaha Tracer 9  with a standard stock exhaust system and tested on the Akrapovič in-house dyno. Weight is reduced by 13.2% (1.0 kg) compared to the standard stock exhaust system.
