Shipping & Returns

Last updated: May 2026.

Shipping

Free shipping on every U.S. order, no minimum. We ship only to the 48 contiguous United States. We don't currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, Canada, or anywhere outside the U.S.

Orders ship from one of three U.S. warehouses (Maine, Indiana, or Nevada) depending on stock and your zip code. Most orders leave the warehouse within 1 business day. Standard ground delivery to most addresses takes 2–6 business days from ship date.

Some oversize items (long handlebars, full exhaust systems, race stands when we add them) may add a surcharge that we'll note clearly on the product page.

Order tracking

You'll get a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once the order leaves the warehouse. If you don't see it within 2 business days of placing the order, check spam first, then email us at support@garamoto.com.

Damaged or missing items

Inspect every shipment when it arrives. If anything looks damaged or a piece is missing from the box, email returns@garamoto.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and a brief description. We'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Damages or shortages reported after the 7-day window are difficult to resolve because the carrier's claim window closes around then. Don't sit on it.

Returns

Most parts are returnable for a refund within 30 days of delivery, in original packaging, unused, and uninstalled. Email returns@garamoto.com to start a return — we'll issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions.

A 15% restocking fee applies to returned items unless the return is due to our error (wrong part shipped, defective on arrival). Customer pays return shipping unless we sent the wrong item.

Items we can't accept back:

  • Tires that have been mounted
  • Brake pads that have been installed
  • Fluids, sprays, lubricants, or any consumable that's been opened
  • Spark plugs that have been gapped or installed
  • Electrical components after they've been wired in
  • Any part used at a track day or in racing (see warranty section below)

Manufacturer warranty

Every product carries the manufacturer's warranty. We pass that warranty through directly — if something fails under the manufacturer's terms, contact us first and we'll route the claim.

Important: warranty exclusions.

Most of our suppliers' warranties explicitly exclude the following uses, which means a part that fails under any of these conditions will not be covered:

  • Track days, racing, or any other competitive use
  • High-performance applications beyond the manufacturer's stated rating
  • Modifications, including for fitment
  • Commercial use (rental fleets, fleet maintenance)
  • All electrical components (no warranty period at all)

If you're buying a part for the track, treat it as a known cost. That doesn't mean we sell low-quality parts — it means the people who make them won't take liability for a part that's been ridden ten-tenths.

Pricing & tax

Our prices follow each manufacturer's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy. Sales tax is added at checkout where required by your state.

California Proposition 65

Many of the products we sell can expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. Where applicable, items will display a Prop 65 warning on the product page. For more information, see p65warnings.ca.gov.
