Cj-2 Shield / Qsv-1 Sun Visor

The J-Cruise comes equipped with a newly designed CJ-2 shield, featuring a slight contour or "air dam" along the bottom to reduce wind entry. When down, the shield is kept firmly in place with an improved, easy to use shield lock mechanism. The shield base has also been improved; a simple "down & press" action seals the shield into a secure dual-ridge window bead, further reducing wind and rain entry. The J-Cruise also features SHOEI's exclusive QSV-1, a retractable sun visor built to the standard of high-grade sunglasses, which not only reduces glaring sunlight but also eliminates visual distortion, ensuring an optimal view while riding.

Compact, Stylish Shape

SHOEI has modified the shape of the J-Cruise to accommodate the addition of a built-in sunshield, resulting in a modern, stylish look. The shape is further streamlined with the inclusion of a rear air spoiler, which increases stability and safety at high speeds.

Refined Interior

The J-Cruise's fully removable and washable interior, consisting of a 3D center pad, cheek pads and chinstrap cover, are designed to correspond to most head shapes. A multi-layer polyurethane foam construction is utilized in the cheek pads, ranging from the softest padding against the rider's cheek to the firmest against the helmet shell. A channel has been included at the top of each cheek pad to accommodate eyeglass earpieces.

Ventilation

Rider comfort helps improve concentration. The ventilation system of the J-Cruise is engineered to help maintain comfort during long rides. Fresh air is brought into the helmet through the forehead vent, which is regulated by a sliding shutter. Hot air is simultaneously exhausted through two top rear vents, as well as through the sun visor's housing and out of a lower rear outlet, helping to avoid heat buildup when the shield is down.
