The Avon Streetrunner AV83 is a street tire built for smaller-displacement commuter motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters. It uses a crossply (bias-ply) carcass, per Avon's own tire notation, with a tread pattern developed for long tread life and all-weather grip. Avon markets the AV83 on handling and durability for daily commuter use rather than performance riding. It is manufactured outside the UK and sold in a range of small-diameter front, rear, and universal-fit sizes for 17 and 18 inch wheels, all tubeless (TL).
