The Dunlop D401 is a bias-ply cruiser tire built as original equipment and replacement fitment for a range of Harley-Davidson, Indian, and other V-twin cruiser models. It uses a computer-optimized tread profile intended to promote even wear while delivering consistent grip in wet and dry conditions. All D401 sizes carry an H speed rating (up to 130 mph), and Dunlop co-brands the sidewall for Harley-Davidson OE fitment. The line is offered in black sidewall (BW) as well as Medium and Wide Whitewall cosmetic trims, and a related D401T Multi-Tread version uses a dual-compound tread for extended rear-tire wear life.
