The Dunlop D402 is a bias-ply touring tire built for long-distance Harley-Davidson touring motorcycles, using a three-ply polyester casing with two fiberglass belts for stability at highway speed. Its tread uses a computer-optimized profile with an offset center groove meant to improve confidence over rain grooves and steel-grate bridges while resisting cupping for more even wear. All D402 sizes carry an H speed rating and the line is Harley-Davidson OE-approved for touring models. It is offered in black sidewall as well as Slim, Medium, and Wide whitewall cosmetic trims on the same casing and tread.
