The Bridgestone Battlax Scooter SC2 Rain is a radial, tubeless tire built for maxi-scooters ridden in wet and cool conditions. Its tread pattern is derived from the Battlax T31 sport-touring tire, with a higher groove count than the standard SC2 to evacuate more water. The rear tire uses a mono-spiral (MS) belt for predictable handling along with a silica-rich rear compound (Silica Rich EX / 3LC with HTSPC RC Polymer technology) that improves grip in rain and colder temperatures. Bridgestone's internal testing shows gains in wet performance versus the standard Battlax SC, and the SC2 Rain holds an edge over the standard SC2 specifically in low-temperature grip.
