Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart IV — 190/50ZR17 Rear

The Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart IV is Dunlop's sport-touring radial, a full redesign over the Roadsmart III with a new tread pattern, construction, compounds, and profile. Front and rear use Hi Silica X and Fine Carbon compounds for wet grip and stopping power, and the rear adds MT Multi-Tread construction with a long-wearing center compound and higher-grip lateral shoulder compounds. Jointless Belt (JLB) construction is used on select sizes for improved compliance, ride quality, and rider feel. Dunlop states the Roadsmart IV delivers roughly 23% more front-tire mileage and 26% more rear-tire mileage than the Roadsmart III, along with about 15% lighter steering effort from a revised profile. It's offered in front sizes from 17-inch through 19-inch (for adventure-style sport-touring bikes) paired with a range of 17-inch rear sizes.
