It uses bias-ply construction with a tightly packed, symmetrical knob pattern designed for balance, efficiency, and traction rather than an aggressive knobby look. It is tuned to perform on hard-packed, rocky, root-covered terrain in wet and dry conditions, while giving a smoother on-road ride and longer wear than a traditional knobby dual-sport tire.
