The Dunlop Dragmax is Dunlop's first purpose-built drag racing tire, developed for professional and amateur racers running GSXR, Hayabusa, turbocharged Harley-Davidson, and other Pro Street class drag bikes. The rear uses Dunlop's N-TEC construction, combining cut-breaker construction with a continuously wound aramid Jointless Belt to limit centrifugal growth and reduce debeading risk under hard launches. It pairs the softest DOT-approved rear compound Dunlop has produced with an extremely flat, wide profile to maximize footprint off the line. A 110/60ZR17 front size was later added to complement the record-setting 190/50ZR17 rear, letting racers lower the front of the bike by over an inch. The tire is distributed exclusively through DME Racing.
