Scorpion MX Extra X is Pirelli's mid-soft to mid-hard motocross tire aimed at training and amateur-to-semi-pro racing across mixed terrain. The front uses an arrow-like block layout with side blocks for directional accuracy and straight-line stability, plus V-shaped blocks for braking and cornering grip; the rear uses a traction-focused block design. A multi-ply carcass gives high puncture resistance while retaining flex to absorb landings and other impacts. It is an NHS (Not for Highway Service) racing tire with no street homologation.
