Shoei RF-1400
The Shoei RF-1400 is a full-face sport helmet engineered for the street rider who demands race-inspired aerodynamics, refined ventilation, and long-ride comfort. Built as the direct successor to the RF-1200, it advances every measurable performance metric through SHOEI's exclusive AIM+ composite construction and in-house wind tunnel development program.
Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ Shell
- Constructed from SHOEI's exclusive AIM+ (Multi-Ply Matrix) multi-ply composite layup
- Dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner engineered to work in concert with the outer shell for energy management
Wind Tunnel Aerodynamics
- 6% reduction in lift and 4% reduction in drag compared to the RF-1200, validated through SHOEI's in-house wind tunnel facility
- Side vortex generators on the shield reduce turbulence at the helmet's edges
- Airtight window beading creates a windproof seal between the CWR-F2 shield and the shell
Repositioned Ventilation System
- Repositioned center forehead vent includes an additional air intake hole for increased cooling airflow
- Enlarged rear exhaust outlet expels hot air more efficiently through negative pressure
CWR-F2 Shield System
- 2D flat outer surface combined with 3D inner geometry delivers improved optical clarity with reduced distortion
- All-new center locking mechanism evenly distributes shield-closing force across spring-loaded base plates
3D Max-Dry Interior System II
- Fully removable, washable, adjustable, and replaceable interior components
- Moisture-wicking liner material capable of dissipating sweat up to 2x faster than traditional nylon fabrics
- Redesigned cheek pads with enhanced volume and comfort padding; removable ear pads included for additional noise management
Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.)
- Cheek pads can be rapidly extracted by first responders to allow safe helmet removal without destabilizing the rider's neck
