- Bi-compound rear: 75% of the tread is a high-silica center compound with a reactive polymer for wet grip, stability and mileage; the 25% shoulder area is a carbon-black-and-resin compound tuned for dry grip at lean.
- EPT (Enhanced Patch Technology) from WSBK optimizes the shape of the contact patch under load.
- ICS (Integrated Contour Shaping) maximizes contact patch area through the lean range.
- FGD (Functional Groove Design) places water-evacuation grooves where they help drainage without taking rubber off the edges.
