The Diablo Rosso IV is Pirelli's fourth-generation road sport tire for supersport, naked, and crossover motorcycles, built with structure and profile derived from Pirelli's racing tires. The front uses a dual-compound layout with a silica-rich harder base for cold and wet grip and a softer side compound for lean angles beyond roughly 35 degrees; rears up to 190/50 are dual-compound, while 190/55 and larger rears step up to a tri-compound, endurance-racing-derived layout. It runs Pirelli's FLASH tread pattern, with center grooves for stability and water evacuation and flatter shoulder contours for high-lean cornering grip. It is aimed at sporty road riding with strong wet and dry performance rather than dedicated track use.
