The Maxxcross MX-SI is Maxxis's soft-to-intermediate terrain motocross tire, developed and tested with 7X Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath as the newest tire in the MX line. Its tread pattern and compound are tuned for traction on corner exits in softer dirt, putting power to the ground in loamy and intermediate conditions. It also uses a new front tread pattern and carcass for lean-angle grip, predictability, and stability. It is a distinct, newer tire from the older Maxxcross SI (M7311/M7312), not simply a renamed version of it.
