The Maxxcross SI is Maxxis's soft/intermediate terrain motocross tire, developed and tested in GNCC and WORCS off-road racing. Anti-flex knob bridges on the side lugs give it solid straight-line stability and stronger cornering grip, backed by a race-proven compound built for traction and durability on loamy, muddy, or intermediate soil. It is a common choice for GNCC/WORCS-style off-road racing as well as motocross tracks in soft-to-intermediate condition, and it predates the newer Jeremy McGrath-developed MX-SI, which is a different tire.
